So whats up,Marta and I spent the day working on the property and setting up for our upcoming Marta and Friends...Don't miss this as it will be special. Looks like our prays will be answerred,we may be doing some work in the rain on Tuesday, but we have looked into this Friday and Saturday event...and looks like a wonderful spring day with clear weather. Marta has blue bonnetss blooming and they would make a great spot for a picture....
Now to my stuff, how about this fairy ballerina below, yes a vintage mannequin that is now dress up for her performance. This one was a BIG project but is a great display example of my paper talents and what I can come up with, when I let my creativity go. A mix of musical sheets with several folds, then burlap used as a accent and roses galore with pearl touches.

This shows off the neckline,a row of ruffles handmade using paper filters.
Lots of romatic pretty,The back of the dress shows off a fairy wing effect and more RUFFLES, then your seeing the door that I have created to use in a dining room or kitchen with the white dress side, and the reverse side is spring blue, both sides feature chalk boards for great note and messages. The ruffle lamp has been dressed with ASCP paint on the stand and then a row silk, row of ruffles with  pearl embelishments. Perfect for a vanity or night stand. We hope to see you this weekend, and remember Marta's Room is on FM 439

  1. Hi KATHERINE, I stumbled across your blog through a twitter post. I am so excited for you that you are successfully reinventing yourself. I am in a similar situation and know how difficult it can be. I have made several attempts at becoming a blogger and am still a work in progress. Your work is lovely. I also work in all things broken or discarded and bring them to their new splendor. Keep up the beautiful work. Nancy
