The show was a success. Both Marta and all her Friends we're happy. The event was busy both days, and  all vendors felt very worthwhile and plans are for a Fall show. Marta's Shop is now back on the map,her past and new customers now know where she is. We both look forward to painting and crafting new surprises. I sold the Wedding Cake in my previous post,I also sold the Ballerina Fairy. The Wedding cake sold to Stephanie who owns Gathering, located in Georgetown..You'v  got to see her shop, wow she has an eye for some great stuff. The Ballerina also sold to the owner of Simply Paris located in Vineyards Antique Mall in Colleyville Texas. Both vendors are ordering more from me in regards to thier upcoming events. This includes Bridal season,so more cakes just not as large and another Ballerina. Plus as always thank you to Marianne of Miss Mustard Seed,no I have not sold my Christmas Skirt. But I have a special order for one, so if one as a example makes another sale then that is what I am after. The idea of special order's is exciting but I am not ready for say Etsy yet.

This is just a small example of what you would find shopping at Gatherings in Georgetown TX. Stephanien places  the garden item shown on her sidewalk outside her store. She is down from the square in Georgetown.

Your going to love these two pictures,Rowena has such a good eye for unique looks. The green is really Real grass in silver serving pieces If you love this look you can still find a  few left and now located in Marta's shop. The whole look is so unique, the table is also located at Marta's Room. The top is a frosted glass, overall iron work and simply beautiful. Add a Bunny and it's perfect.

Check out Rowena's Pattern board, perfect idea for a fashionista...a blow up of original vintage patterns placed on a hangable board,a really cool idea and those dresses are too cool.
Do you love this one,a perfect pantry. So very special, and retains all the hardware, and  features that made the kitchens of the past work, but I bet your glad you have your multi cabinets and flour in the bag, probably tucked in the freezer. This one did not sell , I believe you can find this at Moore and Garrett. For the true collectible, your past treasure would look great with this item. Still has the original glass, you can see the waves.
Do you love the Nautical styling, this table was in the Blue section on the porch. The aquarium was filled with some neat jars full of shells. The cubby shelf I painted using ASCP Paris Blue, then used dark wax and hit it with my sandpaper(old school). The 123 is perfect for the organized gal,and I love the Provence Blue by ASCP.

OK this is a little of the paper delights I made, yes the swan as shown before is papermache and I added the details,my ruffled lamp shade with pearl touches, and the ruffled tree skirt. The frames are all great and plaster details all in good shape.I set this whole look with a wedding idea.

I think the cake and ballerina made a great presentation and the overall look was really pretty. The one thing that was a surprise, my garland swags did not sell. I sell one a month on the average at the store so now I am caught up and have them ready for the future, plus I left one at Marta's.

The sun was shining and it was a beautiful day, this pic shows off Marta's painted chairs. Yes she did paint the chairs including the fabric. She found with using a really fine sandpaper it works out just great. The Hall tree is beautiful with a marble shelf. The cubby you see on the table includes a Paris hotel idea, with decopage and skeleton keys.Great for your collectibles

This was shot from the porch and shows a lil of the view, check out Marta's Blog for more about the show. Hope to see you in the fall and if the weather was as perfect as this last weekend we will all have fun. Now it's time to take those items that did not sell, darn. Back to Moore and Garrett

For those who came out we hope you enjoyed yourself and we want to say THANKYOU!!,plus a Big Thank you to all the vendors that participated. You made the show a success

thank you for visiting my blog. There are two things that stand out to me in this post. I just love that pantry. And on the table the green centerpieces are divine. They look like tall grass that has been placed in silver bowls. Beautiful!
